Aiden got a swimming pool on Saturday. I wasn't sure if he would like it because he doen't like cold water. So we put in some hose water and then brought out buckets of hot water from the house. He had a lot of fun splash and playing with his toys. Aiden played in the pool for about 20 minutes and then decided he needed to get out and play with the hose.
We had a very fun but busy weekend. On Wednesday night we went to Utah to pick up our vending machine. Then we came home on Thursday. Jason and his family came back to Idaho with us to spend the fourth of July with us. Then on Friday we went up to Grandma and Grandpa Griggs and ate hamburgers and hotdogs and just hung out. Grandpa put up two tire swings for the kids to play on. Grandpa thought he would test out the tire swings himself. On Saturday we went to the parade in Ashton. Aiden didn't really get what was going on and was just looking all around. Jason and Melayna got us all matching shirts except for Aiden they could only find him a gray one that said All American Baby, so we put the one on that he made at Naomi's house. After the parade we went back to Grandma and Grandpa Grigg's house and played on the slide and slip.(A.K.A The Grigg's verison of a slip and slide.) Jason and Melayna got some plasic for the hardware store and layed it on the lawn and then put the sprinkler by it. It was a lot of fun. Aiden even enjoyed going down it as long as the sprinkler was not going. Forrest, Jason, and Zach had fun racing down the slide. That night we roasted marshmellows and had s'mores. We were suppose to watch the fireworks at 10:00 but me and Aiden slept through them. On Sunday we drove up to feed the fish, and Aiden slept through that too. It was a great weekend spend with family.
