Today I am schedule to be the hospital at 8:00 PM to be induced. Daddy and Mama are so nervous but really excited for you to come. We got to the hospital at about 7:45 and they took us up to our room. The nurse got my IV started and then asked me a lot of questions. Then the doctor came in and put in the catheter. He said that Dad and Grandma G could go home for the night because nothing was going to happened until morning because I was not dilated at all. So Grandma went home and Dad stayed with Mom. I asked the nurse when I should get the medication for the Strep B and she said they would wait awhile so that it didn't' wear off before I had you. Well about 11 pm I went to the bathroom and the catheter fell out. I asked the nurse if that was okay and she said it was fine it just meant that I was dilating. Then about 12 am I started having contractions. The nurses came in and check me. Then a little later they came in to check on me and you. Your heart beat was slowing down so they wanted to put something in there so they could monitor your heart,but while doing that your heart really started slowing down so they decided it was time to start pushing. I was really nervous at this point. The doctor got there just in time to get you out. He had to use the forceps to get you out because you were not breathing. So you had two little marks on your head from the foceps. Daddy and I were so excited to finally see you. We are so happy to have you in our family. You are such a sweet spirit send to us from heaven. Grandma and Grandpa Hammond and Grandma Grigg came back to the hospital about 30 minutes after you were born.
